Two decades of artisanal door-making excellence
For over two decades, Door Designs has been synonymous with grandeur, craftsmanship and the transformative power of a beautifully made door. Each piece in our collection is a labour of love — handcrafted by master artisans who have inherited centuries of woodcarving tradition from the workshops of Saharanpur, India's furniture-making capital.
We believe that a door is never merely functional. It is the first impression of a home, a statement of taste and an heirloom in the making. From traditional Rajasthani jaali-carved main doors with hand-forged brass fittings to minimalist Scandinavian-inspired slatted panels, we bring every style to life in the finest natural wood.
We work exclusively with premium kiln-dried hardwoods — teak, sheesham, mango and sal — chosen for their grain beauty, dimensional stability and decades-long durability. Every piece of timber is air-dried for a minimum of six months before machining, ensuring resistance to warping and seasonal movement. Finishes include pure tung oil, hand-rubbed beeswax, nitro-cellulose lacquer and water-based satin — each applied by hand in multiple coats for a deep, lasting lustre.
Every entrance is unique and we celebrate that. We accept fully custom orders — any dimension, any wood species, any carving motif or hardware finish. Our design team works closely with architects, interior designers and homeowners to create doors that are precisely tailored to the space and the story you want to tell. Lead time for custom pieces is typically 4–8 weeks from confirmed order.
Every Door Designs piece comes with our full craftsmanship guarantee. If any structural or finish defect arises within the warranty period, we will address it without question. Our installation support team is available to guide you through hanging, hardware fitting and frame sealing for every product we make.
